Orrefors Swedish Full Lead Crystal Glass Candle Holders - Olle Alberius
Two candle holders depicting a torch. Beautiful luxury home decor for a festive occassion. The glass is full lead crystal, labled by Orrefors and signature etched on the base. The designer is Olle Alberius (1926-1993).
Alberius was associated with Rörstrands Porslinsfabrik from 1963 to 1971. From 1971 he worked at Orrefors glassworks where he composed both classic tableware such as Victoria (1978) and Erik (1974), art glass in the Ariel and Grail technique and cut sculptures in crystal. Alberius is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm.
